MÃ¥ns Hultman, CEO

Short Bio

In less than 5 years at the company, MÃ¥ns has successfully turned QlikTech from a small, product oriented Swedish software vendor into a highly competitive international software business with sales in more than 40 countries. Since MÃ¥ns joined QlikTech, revenue has grown by more than 500%.

MÃ¥ns has worked for more than 20 years in the IT Industry, working most of his time as a Management Consultant. In 1992 MÃ¥ns helped form Sundet Investment, which is now one the investors in QlikTech. MÃ¥ns joined QlikTech in 2000, first as a board member, but after a few months also as CEO.

MÃ¥ns studied economics at the University of Lund, Sweden.

Mans will give an update on the state of QlikTech’s business. He will discuss the company’s growth, the organization, and investments we’re making in building the business. He will share the history of QlikTech, our values, and how we use these to focus the organization.

Jonas Nachmanson, CTO and Vice President R&D

Short Bio

Jonas is Vice President of Engineering and is responsible for managing and running all aspects of the development of QlikTech’s products including QlikView, QlikView Server and QlikView Publisher. Jonas has been with QlikTech since 1996 and during his tenure has served in a variety of capacities. Previously Jonas was with Tetra Pak Processing Systems AB, where he had overall responsibility for joint venture between Tetra Pak, Tetra Laval Food and ABB for the commercialization of high pressure treatment of foodstuffs. His responsibilities included direct sales efforts with customers as well as pushing development within the companies participating in the joint project. Prior to this, Jonas built and managed the Corporate Marketing Research department at Tetra Laval Marketing Services AB in Lund Sweden. In this role he planned, executed and administrated various studies for companies in the Tetra Laval group.

Jonas has a Masters in Electrical Engineering from the Lund Institute of Technology, and a B.Sc. in Business Administration from Lund University.  In addition, he studied Russian and Eastern European Studies at Uppsala University.

Jonas will launch QlikView 8. In his presentation he will cover what is new in QlikView 8, the benefits of the new functionality, and show a comprehensive demonstration of the product.

Les Bonney, Vice President - Global Alliances and International Markets

Short Bio

Les is responsible for QlikTech's business operations in geographies where QlikTech does not have subsidiaries. Les is a 20 year veteran of the IT industry with extensive experience in sales and business management in hyper growth companies. Formally a Vice President and General Manager for Oracle Corp, Les was responsible for establishing Oracle’s presence in Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa. More recently worked for Siebel Systems for 5 years as the Vice President for Northern Europe, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa where he also successfully managed the business from startup to market dominance. Prior to joining QlikTech in June 2005, Les was the Vice President and General Manager International Markets for the Document Management company StreamServe.

With a track record of establishing highly successful businesses in International markets with both direct and indirect distribution strategies Les brings world class knowledge and practical experience to the Management team of QlikTech.

Markus Roithmeier, CEO QlikTech Germany

Short Bio

Markus Roithmeier is Vice President and CEO of QlikTech Germany. Markus has a background as Senior Management Consultant at last for the UK-based PA Consulting Group with focus on Strategic Information Management, Sales & Marketing and CRM. He has been involved as Consultant as well as interim Manager in the market repositioning of national and international companies in various verticals. End of 2002 he joined QlikTech where he started as a VP & CEO for QlikTech Germany to develop the German speaking countries. He is also heading QlikTech's SAP Competence Centre as well the QlikAcademy which is the international training center for QlikTech. He has a business administration degree in marketing and communications of the University of Düsseldorf. He has a background in sports as a professional soccer player, owner and founder of one of Germans biggest tennis academies, and an adventure travel agency. He is married and has two kids.
