Qonnections 2006, QlikTech’s first-ever global user and partner summit, was held October 23-26, 2006 in Philadelphia, PA.  Highlights of this exciting and important event included:

• Announcement around Qonnect, QlikTech’s new global partner program which will ultimately enable QlikTech’s build, sell and deploy partners to deliver more smiles with QlikView
• The InterQonnections Café, QlikTech’s answer to the Apple Computer “genius bar”, where customers and partners had the unique opportunity to engage directly with QlikTech’s development staff and other product experts
• Unveiling of QlikView for Communities, a new deployment option that allows  organizations to extend the power of QlikView to large communities of customers, partners, suppliers and other external stakeholders
• Customer and partners success stories from companies like Excelsior Software, ADP, Colonial Insurance, Williams-Sonoma, Target Express and Sepracor, to name a few, demonstrated the power and potential of QlikView
• Official launch of QlikCommunity.com, a virtual gathering place where members of the QlikCommunity can share best practices, learn about new QlikView applications and engage solution experts and suggest enhancements
• A fabulous “freedom party” at the amazing restaurant Cuba Libre, where the QlikCommunity enjoyed tasty Mojitos, fresh-rolled cigars and loads of great salsa music and dancing in an authentic Havana setting.

Most importantly, the QlikCommunity joined together to launch a revolution in the business intelligence space.
